About

I am a postdoc in the Collective Decisions and Computations Lab as part of the Bernoulli Institute for Mathematics, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Groningen under the supervision of Davide Grossi.

I was a PhD Candidate at the University of Amsterdam as part of the COMSOC Group at the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation (ILLC). I was a part of the VICI project on Collective Information under the supervision of Ronald de Haan and Ulle Endriss. I successfully defended my PhD thesis titled “On Proportionality in Complex Domains” in January 2025.

Both my BSc and MSc in Computer Science were completed at the University of Cape Town, with the latter done under the supervision of Thomas Meyer.

My research interests are mainly in collective decision making with particular interest in multiwinner voting and fair representation. I have also worked topics within Knowledge Representation and Reasoning (KR) such as defeasible reasoning and normative reasoning.
